lihua's birthday!

yesterday was
THE LIHUA'S BIRTHDAY! :D
went to school for natday rehearsal at the pac. it was quite redundant, seeing how only three groups of people were performing, so we were just taking turns using the stage. the rest of the time there was spent camwhoring! took about 50photos! :D
we had lunch later, and due the the sparse availability of food in the canteen on a saturday, the dancers indulged in maggi meee! i developed a new love for tom yum yum yum. after that, the dancers went to the tsd room to pract! senghenk yuhui litying zhengning cheeyang and i! (: its really cool there, nice and cold. i got lost in the curtains cause i entered through the backdoor -.- there was a really comfy couch there which i promptly plopped on and...
fell asleep. when i woke up, only zheng ning and cheeyang were left! i slept for a total of 1.5 hours! what a pig. lihua finally came running at 2.40, and we went to the canteen to get some munchies! :D we then decided against 1) watching a movie in the library 2) attempt to study and went for 3) shopping!!!
we went to wisma, and it was actually only me doing the shopping -.- topshop was having sales, but everything we wanted wasnt on sale. saw a pair of pumps at aldo, and was soooo tempted to buy the pink ones that i still love and were NOT ON SALE too. yup. went to selfridge, forever21, newurbanmale, frenchconnection, maxstudio <-- where i saw another pair of lovely shoes which were sadly overpriced. they were really cute though (: we wanted to get pullover hoodies, but mine was a little too warm for singapore whereas lihua's was the last piece.
we then went to heeren to eat at village, only to find out that ALL the eateries in heeren are under renovation. super ridiculous. ended up eating at coffee club, with the incessant drilling of construction work. yona and denise joined us (: when the birthday girl went to the toilet, we wanted to light her cake for us when coffee club told us that if they were to bring the cake in and sing happy birthday, it'd cost us 10 bucks. FOR BRINGING A MEASLY CAKE IN.
fine, we decided to go procure a lighter on our own and attempt to light the 'sparkler candles' that denise bought. only they went so sparkly. it was so funny, the candle would burn for 5 second before a single spark light up, and denise would go: there there there! sparks! --;
by then the birthday girl returned, and though i tried to hide her cake she saw it. so we sang a speedy song for her and got her to blow out the ... sparks.
dinner was hilarious, as usual with the gang, with yona telling us all about her first impression of denise (yona: yknow when i first saw denise i thought that her english was REALLY bad. now i dont really notice it anymore, which shows that denise is a BAD influence.) and us filling denise in on friday when she didnt come to school.
after dinner, birthday girl went off, leaving us to go shopping! yona bought a pair of converses on sale and i finally got my hands on something today! :D dorothys!!! they are so comfy, they are probably the most comfortable canvas shoes i have slipped my feet into. i had to sneak them home though, my parents kinda banned me from shopping. we went searching for shorts for me then, but everything makes me look obese ): bleah. we left town at 9.15 and it took me an hour to get home cause there was a stupid jam. pah.
