water feste!


HELLO.


just got back from school and water feste! this is the main point of this blog entry.


water feste was funnnnn! :D funner than i expected, but also, extremely mortifying.


i failed my water proficiency test! in other words, i can't swim!!! its so embarrassing that i dont even want to talk about it. i am going to go and get swimming lessons. how can i forget how to swim! i used to know how to swim by the way. i probably swim once in a year or something nowadays. I NEED SWIMMING LESSONS. i've forgotten all my childhood survival skills!!! skating, swimming, what next! gah.


OH YES. jianying tricked me again! with jenwei! they told me that jenwei cant swim! that even though he was on the waterpolo team [that is another lie] he was the goalie so he didnt need to know how to swim! and jenwei had such a straight face when he said that he floated around because he had floats in his trunks. i believed him!!! to think that i was so happy to see him because i thought i had a fellow non-swimmer -.- and i still believed him until after the test when i realised he was perfectly fine in the water. gooodnesssss. i will never believe another thing that koh jianying says.


ANYWAY, the people.. uh i cant rmb the term suddenly. lets just call them rangers. the rangers who were in charge, told me that i'd not be able to play the deep water games for safety reasons. hah, thats totally fine for me, considering how i dont wanna pull the team down. our team consists of me, stacey, jianying, jen wei, liyuan... and one last guy i cant rmb. our MR swimmers are super, looking at them just makes me more ashamed of myself x_x i wish i knew how to swim freestyle. froggie is just... i have no word to describe that. sheeeeesh.


MR won most of the games! (: our team won 3 games, and lost 1, which was dodgeball. the other team was :O i get scared looking at them. they're made up of super athletic people from BW. and yea, we won the first round, cause the opponet bumped into the bottle of water by accident. but that was the only one we won! jen wei is awesomeeee he can just be a one man team. its amazing just watching him. but we lost 4-1 i think. BW2 had this really fast guy who hit our bottle within the first 10seconds of our 3rd game, and the last game had stacey left standing with 4 guys. 4 guys who can throw and dodge and whatsnot. yknow, watching/playing with the guys makes me realise how athletic i am not. but it was a good game! :D


we won volleyball, treasure hunt and captain's ball. volleyball was another one man show with jinsei serving... and serving, and serving and serving and serving... you get the idea. we won 21 to 7, against HH. i contributed by winning the scissors paper stone and serving over (: once. hoho. i was the captain for captain's ball. it was extremely amusing watching jianying and... kevin? throw the ball to each other to and fro until they're right under my nose and pass me the ball. we won 4-1 :D :D at least i can catch.


we didnt get individual prizes cause we drew with other teams, and they won us during the volleyball faceoff. it was a really fun day (: turned out better, (well not really, i expected to pass my proficiency test) than i expected. but, whew, swimming is tiring x_x i think i'm worn out from my pathetic 50m swim. this is so saddening. i'm just going to go have dinner and sleep.


dance tmrwwwww :D we get the studio! but that so doesnt stop my toes from peeling. i need to catch up with my work DESPERATELY. EOM, tutorials, and not to mention, all the left over revision that i never did for CTs. promos are 8 weeks away! thats two months! JC years are really fun, but they pass really quickly too. soon we'll be saying bye to our j2s as they leave to prepare for their A's :\ the school would be so empty... bah.


ok i need food. and sleep. and a state of denial, so i can get over the embarrassment. choww.
